Out of Hours Service 
Telephone - 02392 377921. Portsmouth Out of Hours service ensures that there are always doctors and nurses on duty whenever the practice is closed – overnight, weekends and bank holidays. They can provide telephone advice, an appointment at their surgery (in Drayton) or a home visit

Home Visits
If you think a home visit may be needed please contact the surgery before 10.30am.  A Doctor or Nurse will contact you by phone initially and decide the best course of action.

Appointments
We aim to provide a mixture of prebookable, on the day appointments, telephone advice and home care. Appointments, to see or speak on the phone to one of our Doctors or Nurses are made via our reception.  

Test Results

Most blood test results are returned to us in under a week. X-Ray and Ultrasounds can be 1-3 weeks. Biopsies or cervical smears 3-6 weeks.

We will always try and contact you with any abnormal results (please make sure reception has your up to date address and telephone numbers). We do not routinely contact patients if tests are normal/negative.

You do not always need to see a doctor to get the results of a test. Once the doctor has reviewed the results – reception will be able to tell you the outcome and whether any follow up is required. Please ring in the afternoon if possible.
