Out of Hours Service
Telephone - 02392 377921. Portsmouth Out of Hours service ensures that there are always doctors and nurses on duty whenever the practice is closed – overnight, weekends and bank holidays. They can provide telephone advice, an appointment at their surgery (in Drayton) or a home visit

Home Visits
If you think a home visit may be needed please contact the surgery before 10.30am. A Doctor or Nurse will contact you by phone initially and decide the best course of action.

We aim to provide a mixture of prebookable, on the day appointments, telephone advice and home care. Appointments, to see or speak on the phone to one of our Doctors or Nurses are made via our reception.

St Mary’s Treatment Centre Walk in

The Treatment Centre at St Mary’s hospital, Milton Road is a walk in clinic that deals with minor injuries and ailments for adults and children (not babies).

Anyone can go there for medical advice and treatment for a range of problems including:

Rashes, infections, coughs, colds etc
Minor injuries including cuts, sprains and simple fractures
Emergency contraception

Guildhall Walk Healthcare Centre - 02392 751006

The Guildhall Walk Healthcare Centre based at 27 Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth, PO1 2DD is a GP Practice with walk-in facilities which is open to everyone whether they are registered at this practice or not.

The centre is open every day from 8am-8pm (including all bank holidays) and offers a range of services, including health information, advice and treatment for a range of minor illneses, without having to make an appointment.

In a dire emergency (for example chest pain, extreme shortness of breath, unexpected bleeding or a bad fall or accident) you should call the emergency ambulance service who will assess you at home before (usually) taking you to the local accident and emergency department (at Queen Alexandra Hospital). Obviously this is a service to be used only in a real emergency.
