Appointment system for blood services at St Mary's Hospital has changed...

There will no longer be a walk-in-facility for phlebotomy services at St Mary's Hospital. Instead patients must book an appointment by phone. Blood test appointments will be available from 8am to 4.45pm Monday to Fridays. The booking line will be available from 7am to 7pm Monday to Fridays and from 9am to 5pm at weekends.

Text Messages

The practice also provides a FREE appointment text reminder service. Please make sure we have your current mobile number to safeguard your confidentiality.

Out of Hours Service
Telephone - 0300 300 2012. Portsmouth Out of Hours service ensures that there are always doctors and nurses on duty whenever the practice is closed – overnight, weekends and bank holidays. They can provide telephone advice, an appointment at their surgery (in Drayton) or a home visit.

Home Visits
If you think a home visit may be needed please contact the surgery before 10.30am.  A Doctor or Nurse will contact you by phone initially and decide the best course of action.

Appointments
We aim to provide a mixture of prebookable, on the day appointments, telephone advice and home care. Appointments, to see or speak on the phone to one of our Doctors or Nurses are made via our reception.

Welcome to The Osborne Practice

The Osborne PracticeThe Osborne Practice serves over 10 000 people in Southsea – from Gunwharf to Eastney. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses and administrators work hard to provide a full range of GP medical services, for both NHS and private patients. We are committed to maintaining and where possible improving the high quality of medicine practised by our team.

We work from two surgeries: the main surgery and offices off Osborne Road, (near the Queens hotel and the Southsea shopping precinct), and from Eastney Health Centre (on Highland Road Eastney next door to the police station).

We hope this website will help our current and potential new patients get the best from our Practice, as well as providing information about other local healthcare services.

Have a look around our website and please do send us some feedback. We can use your thoughts to improve our online services & further develop the website to make it more useful for our patients. emis access
